Thermoacoustic measurement of ultrasonic power
Vysoudil, Ladislav ; Čížek, Martin (referee) ; Rozman, Jiří (advisor)
The assignment of this work is to suggest structural design of thermoacoustic sensor and experimentally verify his function for testing intensity of ultrasound diagnostic systems. Then the measured results are compared with measurement by the hydrophone in ultrasonic measuring tank. Opening part of this work is focused on functional description of sensors and their construction, including functional description and construction of hydrophone. The rest of the work deals with project of thermoacoustic sensor and measuring with sensor and hydrophone and evaluation results of measurement. Intention of this work is to verify the correct function of designed thermoacoustic sensor with the help of comparison measurement with hydrophone.
Impact of Fuel Parameters on Operating Conditions of Biomass Boiler
Uhrík, Patrik ; Baláš, Marek (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to assess affect of fuel moisture like most important characteristic of biomass to combustion process and boiler operation. The theoretical part describes a fuel biomass and its monitored parameters. In experimental part is evaluation of impact monitored characteristics to combustion process.
Rewarding of Employees and its Impact on Stimulation and Motivation at a Particular Company
Bohuslavová, Petra ; Horáková, Věra (referee) ; Jakubcová, Marie (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis deals with problems of remuneration and its relationship to motivation and stimulation of employees. Theoretical knowledge are targeted to describe characteristic of remuneration in general, define systems of remuneration itself and also particular payroll forms. Attention is paid mainly to individual forms of remuneration acting as a stimulation means for employee, which are useful for an effective employee motivation in the company. In the practical part, obtained data are used for evaluating the existing system of remuneration and for evaluating used incentives of this system in concrete company. The bachelor thesis also pays attention to detected deficits and to suggestions of such rewards, which will motivate employees to perform tasks now assigned.
Proposal for Improving the System of Rewarding Employees of Uniagro, s. r. o.
Jelínková, Markéta ; Fröhlich, Vladimír (referee) ; Jakubcová, Marie (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on the issue of evaluation and remuneration employees. Defines the basic concepts necessary for the understanding of the issues. Describes the options and forms of remuneration employees. The text of the bachelor thesis devotes its attention also to the analysis of the remuneration and evaluation of employees in this concrete company, carried out by means of questionnaires. In accordance with the carried out analysis identifies the deficiencies of current remuneration. On the basis of these shortcomings are proposed meansures to improve the existing system of remuneration of the concrete company.
The use of Steam Turbines
Kissler, Martin ; Vojáčková, Jitka (referee) ; Fiedler, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to present the development of steam turbines from their construction to the detailed description of one of the major representatives of the modern turbines. The introduction of my thesis focuses on the historical development of the first turbines and their division according to the basic aspects. It is followed by a description of the use of steam turbines to generate electricity, for driving machines and for use in heating plants. The conclusion of my thesis is a detailed description of the turbines located on Nuclear Power Plant. To the description is added a simplified calculation.
Modernization the Dukovany Nuclear Power Station
Kissler, Martin ; Martinec, Jiří (referee) ; Fiedler, Jan (advisor)
Thesis focuses on a detailed technical description of all important parts of secondary circuit in Dukovany power plant and its connection to other systems of power plant. In thesis are analyzed significant adjustments which have been made during the entire operation of power plant including in particular the actions associated with project called Utilization of project reserves of units EDU. In the main part of the thesis were carried out calculations of the power plant's power for states before and after the modernization and there is also analyzed the impact of individual changes on the whole power plant. These changes are with the entire secondary circuit drawn in the T-s diagram.
Magnetostriction vibration power generator
Šumpelová, Jana ; Singule, Vladislav (referee) ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with the idea of energy harvesting from mechanical vibration. It describes the magnetostrictive principle as a possibility to obtain an electrical energy. It is about a generator made of a beam with Terfenol-D material and a coil. The model of this device is created in Matlab/Simulink and FEMM application. For various values of measured vibration, these methods are then compared. In FEMM, you can improve energy gain by modeling of various environmental conditions and with using of another materials (e.g. by adding of permanent magnets). The outcome of the this thesis expresses the ability to harvest the energy with designed magnetostrictive generator compared to the already created models of the piezoelectric and electromagnetic generator. Based on these results, it is possible to determine which generator is more suitable for particular application.
